Welch Allyn have dipped their toes into the world of portable ECG machines before but with their focus originally on a dedicated hospital quality ECG that would take the beating that equipment inevitably experiences in our hospitals they are both large and heavy, not exactly the type of machine that your average GP would like to have to move around his surgery. See the CP100 and CP200 for further details.
In response to the need for a smaller lightweight GP friendly ECG Welch Allyn have designed and built a new model that is not only hospital friendly, made to the same robust high standards that Welch Allyn are famous for, but one that is also easy to carry around. The CP50 digital ECG.
If you’re in the market to replace an old ECG that maybe getting a little tired or wanting to upgrade to a version that can integrate with your PC and Medical Director, then this may be the model for you. The device can be purchased in a range of configurations to suit individual preference, if you want interpretation, well that’s optional, if you want to connect to the PC, that’s an option too.
Check the products page for further information on the CP50 range of options and if you buy now you may also receive a free mobile cart designed to keep your CP50 ready to go at all times and also secure and safe so that things don’t bump into it. Click here for further details.
