Small outage 21/03/2011

This morning we suffered a full site outage due to technical difficulties at our datacentre.

"RE: Unplanned Network Outage : 21/03/2011

There was an unplanned outage affecting our Sydney server cluster on the morning of 21/03/2011. 

This caused the hosted websites of a number of our clients to be unavailable during this time. This issue has now been resolved.

The underlying cause of this outage was a malfunctioning DNS server in our upstream service provider. We had to work closely with our upstream provider to identify and resolve this issue. Unfortunately identifying the issue took them longer than expected.

We at Neto are committed to providing top quality hosting and services for our clients. As such, we are commencing a review of our current hosting arrangements with our provider and are in the process of implementing some immediate changes to ensure such an outage does not recur."
